To visit Kedarnath Dham you have trek from Som prayag. If you take less breaks you can visit kedarnath from som prayag in 5 Hours and can extend up to 10 Hours this all depends upon how much rest you take in between you're Journey. If you want to return same day from Kedarnath to Som Prayag you can opt for Helicopter ride to reduce your travel time. The cost for Helicopter ride is about 6 to 7 Thousand for per person and also this depends upon the weather condition as if the weather is in adverse condition.

After that there is no bus for the whole day. The buses which you can change are from Haridwar-Rudraprayag-Sonprayag.
